I've delivered embedded firmware for Schneider Electric, Giesecke+Devrient, Philips Healthcare, Honeywell, and Bosch across industrial automation, SIM OS, medical imaging, fire safety, and automotive systems.
At Schneider Electric, I architect IEC 61508-compliant TMR firmware, including FMEA, redundancy diagnostics, and SPI, ADC, and RS-485 interfaces. I also ported the IEC 61499 FORTE runtime to STM32 and lead a proof of concept to migrate HDLC functionality from FPGA to microcontroller.
At Philips, I designed servo-assisted X-ray motion control for the C-90 flagship, delivering jerk-free wall-stand positioning with RTOS C/C++, motor control, ADCs, encoders, and CAN. At Giesecke+Devrient, I led next-generation SIM OS development in C and Java, including OTA updates and remote file management.
Across 16+ years, I've owned architecture decisions, board bring-up, hardware-aware debugging, design reviews, and functional-safety delivery under IEC 61508, IEC 62304, and ISO 26262. I also mentor engineers and use AI tools to accelerate requirements analysis, documentation, and design and code reviews.
