I am a BSN-prepared registered nurse with five years of critical care experience in medical, surgical, and trauma ICUs. I have developed strong acute assessment skills, ventilator and CRRT management experience, and consistent medication administration and titration practice.
My clinical work includes stabilization and monitoring of moderately to critically ill adults, participation in rapid sequence intubation and bedside procedures, and ventilator management across multiple tertiary hospitals. I am experienced with EMRs including Cerner and EPIC and maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications.
I am currently seeking a preceptor for clinical placement in Baylor University's Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program, building on my critical care background while expanding into psychiatric mental health practice. I bring a practice driven by evidence, a strong communication style, and a commitment to ongoing education.
Throughout my career I have taken on leadership responsibilities such as weekend nurse manager duties in assisted living, and I stay active in professional organizations including the ANA, AACN, and AANP to ensure I deliver patient-centered, high-quality care.
