What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a data-centric role in early-stage research where I can run rigorous assay analysis, build publication-quality visualizations, and collaborate with scientists to troubleshoot variability and accelerate data-driven decisions.

I’m a data-driven biology graduate with 7+ years of academic and hands-on experience in molecular biology, microbiology, and biochemistry. I bring a precision-first approach to experimental design, quantitative analysis, and scientific interpretation—turning complex assay outputs into clear, decision-ready insights.

In my current role as an Associate Data Scientist, I analyze BMAL reporter, radioligand binding, CYP inhibition, gene expression, metabolic, and Nano-Glo luciferase assays. I process raw data in Microsoft Excel and GraphPad Prism, calculate IC50, EC50, fold change, and signal-to-noise metrics, and curate datasets to maintain accuracy, consistency, and reproducibility across assay types.

I also focus heavily on communication and traceability. I create publication-ready dose-response curves, scatter plots, and bar charts, then upload cleaned assay data to LIMS, ELN, and CDD Vault to ensure standardized documentation and full traceability. I partner with research scientists to interpret results, troubleshoot variability, and inform early drug discovery decisions.

Before drug discovery, I strengthened my lab discipline and data rigor in regulated environments and education. As a Lab Technician / Lead Phlebotomist at PTS Diagnostics, I tracked quality-control performance using Excel reporting and flagged deviations to support quality decisions. Earlier, I supported high-throughput COVID serum sample workflows at Covance, maintaining sample metadata and logistics records to protect data integrity.

Current

Associate Data Scientist

Pelagos Pharmaceuticals

Mar 2025 - Present (1 year 4 months)

Analyzed results from multiple in vitro assays (BMAL reporter, radioligand binding, CYP inhibition, gene expression, metabolic, and Nano-Glo luciferase), processing raw data and calculating key quantitative metrics. Curated and uploaded cleaned assay data to LIMS/ELN/CDD Vault and partnered with research scientists to interpret results for early drug discovery decisions.

SS

High School Science Teacher

Skyview High School

Jun 2023 - Nov 2024 (1 year 5 months)

Taught biology, chemistry, and physics through classroom and laboratory instruction, leading student experiments and data analysis to strengthen scientific reasoning and interpretation. Designed lesson plans and lab activities focused on quantitative analysis and experimental design, using assessments to adjust instruction.

PD

Lab Technician / Lead Phlebotomist

PTS Diagnostics

May 2021 - Jan 2023 (1 year 8 months)

Verified quality standards by analyzing incoming and in-process products and medical devices using whole blood, control samples, and reference materials. Collected and recorded data under quality-control protocols, built Excel reporting for performance trends, and reviewed testing results to flag deviations and support quality decisions.
