Asare Kingsford

I am a Registered and Licensed Dietician (RD/LD) and Senior Technical Officer (T.O) in public health, focused on promoting and restoring health and well-being. I bring strong experience in patient education and management of chronic conditions, with a clear purpose: saving lives through preventive health behaviour approaches.

My background spans clinical and community work, supported by a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Dietetics and a Diploma in Health Promotion (Public Health). I’m skilled in counseling, health education, and report writing, and I adapt my approach for both geriatrics and pediatrics. I also have experience monitoring nutrition- and health-related programs such as immunization coverage and vitamin A supplementation.

Professionally, I’ve supported health services through education and care activities at the Ghana Health Service, including OPD and children under five growth monitoring and promotion. I’ve worked as an Enumerator and Data Collection Officer for immunization and 2YL (2nd Year of Life) programs, then progressed into Health Education and Social Mobilization roles—delivering community outreaches, home visits, school health education, and group meetings.

Currently, I serve in dietetic consulting roles, including Head of Consulting and Dietitian, where I lead client relations and diet therapy while strengthening diet-informed care planning. I’m committed to behaviour change communication, community and group engagement, and monitoring and supervising public health activities, and I hold professional memberships with relevant Ghana health and nutrition bodies.
