I’m looking for a senior accounting role where I can own GAAP/STAT and NAIC reporting, lead close and reconciliations, strengthen internal controls, and partner cross-functionally to keep audits audit-ready and improve efficiency through automation.

I’m a Senior Accountant with 10+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience across insurance, financial services, and corporate accounting environments. I specialize in U.S. GAAP and STAT reporting, preparing complex financial statements, and ensuring audit readiness—especially in deadline-driven, multi-entity environments.

In my recent role as a Senior Accountant for Lilypad Insurance / Arbol Inc (contract, remote), I prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual U.S. GAAP and statutory financial statements and reporting packages for multiple insurance entities. I lead month-end and quarter-end close, manage journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations, and prepare statutory reporting schedules including NAIC filings and Yellow Book reporting. I also serve as a primary point of contact for external auditors by coordinating requests, preparing PBC schedules, and maintaining audit readiness throughout the audit cycle.
