Over 6 years, I've built and shipped production backend systems across three high-stakes domains: healthcare technology (Align Technology), international trade automation (WebbFontaine), and national e-government platforms (IU Networks). Each role came with real ownership — not ticket-closing, but end-to-end accountability for design, delivery, and production stability.
At Align Technology, I owned a core data aggregation service serving clinical workflow UIs across a global microservices platform. I led a Spring Boot 2→3 migration, designed an S3-based config distribution system that eliminated direct K8s console access, resolved a critical PostgreSQL performance issue through query plan analysis and index redesign, and solely managed releases across 4 AWS regions and 10+ environments — including production load testing, monitoring via Splunk/SignalFx, and full release documentation.
At WebbFontaine, I architected a fully configurable multi-country trade licensing platform used by government agencies across Nepal, Benin, and beyond — one system, dynamically adapted per country through configuration, not code duplication. I also built a standalone PDF generation service used in production by multiple governments.
What I bring to any team: → Ownership mentality — I see problems through from design to production → Distributed systems experience — Kafka, AWS (S3, SQS, SNS), Kubernetes, microservices → Performance engineering — query optimization, load testing, observability → Cloud-native delivery — CI/CD, multi-region releases, config management → Expanding stack — Java-first, actively building in Node.js & TypeScript
If you need someone who can be handed a hard problem and trusted to solve it — let's talk.
