Arseny Varshavsky
@arsenyvarshavsky
Diplomacy and media relations expert using analytical research to drive strategic negotiations and stakeholder outcomes.
What I'm looking for
I’m a multilingual international relations professional with 10+ years of diplomatic service in Latin America, specializing in government relations, strategic negotiations, and stakeholder management. I combine analytical thinking with clear communication, including public speaking and live radio/TV interviews for broad audiences.
In my most recent leadership role as a Senior Political Affairs Officer at the Embassy of Russia to Nicaragua, I authored over 20 policy reports to support Russian Foreign Ministry strategic planning across Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Honduras. I led high-stakes negotiations between Rosatom and Nicaraguan energy agencies, resulting in a landmark intergovernmental agreement on peaceful nuclear energy applications.
I also thrive in complex, high-pressure coordination—organizing logistics for delegations of up to 100 high-ranking officials, including top executives and legislative leaders. I mentored junior diplomats and staff, building collaboration and elevating overall mission performance through a coaching mindset and consistent execution.
Earlier, as an Attaché in Uruguay, I launched the Embassy’s digital media transformation, driving a 200% annual increase in Twitter engagement. I co-produced media programming for the 2016 “Russia–Latin America Business and Media Forum,” strengthened bilateral health diplomacy through high-level coordination at WHO events, and managed large-scale public-facing initiatives such as the 2018 FIFA World Cup promotional campaign.
