What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a finance/accounting position where I can apply my journal-entry, reconciliation, and grant/tax reporting experience while continuing to grow my knowledge and accuracy in a detail-driven environment.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minor in Business Management from Point Park University, graduating December 2020. Through my coursework, I built a strong foundation in debits and credits, general ledger activity, cash flow management, income statements, depreciation, ratio analysis, and business law—along with practical tax knowledge.

In my current role at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, I create and enter journal entries for expenses and revenues, accruals, accumulated depreciation, and deferred revenue. I recognize revenue for grants, work in the 340B grant account, balance AR and grant accounts, and support close activities including intercompany balancing and inventory-related entries. I also create invoices for contracts and grants (including MARC, POSC, Ryan White II, and Title III), ensure AP payments are correct, and prepare reports needed for tax purposes like grants, rents, and lease obligations.

Before this, I served as a Fiscal Technician for Cambria County CYS, where I handled bill and payroll entry into Quickbooks and CAPs by cost center and expense type. I pulled quarterly reports to support Title IV-E invoicing, assisted with Act 148 reporting, reconciled program income across systems, and prepared and maintained documentation for eligibility determinations. I bring an organized, accuracy-first approach to reconciliation, reporting, and documentation—so the numbers are dependable when decisions and reimbursements depend on them.
