Ariana Araceli Alfaro Villalobos

I’m an Ingeniería Civil student in my 10mo ciclo at the Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería, approaching graduation, with a strong focus on obras civiles, diseño estructural and engineering de detalle. I value rigorous documentation and fieldwork, and I apply engineering tools to turn on-site information into reliable technical outputs.

In my preprofesional experience, I’ve supported infrastructure evaluation through dimensional field surveys, verification of structural element conditions, and preparation and updating of structural plans in AutoCAD. I’ve also participated in ensayos no destructivos and semidestructivos such as esclerometría and extracción de diamantinas, strengthening my ability to assess existing concrete elements.

I combine traditional civil engineering workflows with digital and geospatial capabilities—organizing and analyzing data in ArcGIS and Google Earth, and building engineering-focused web components using HTML, JavaScript, Angular and Python. I’m especially motivated by projects that improve the integration of technical, graphical, and geospatial information for better decision-making.
