Areez Nadeem

I completed a Bachelor of Science in Cellular, Molecular and Microbial Biology at the University of Calgary with distinction and a 3.87 GPA.

Through molecular biology and microbiology laboratory projects, I've used PCR, agarose gel electrophoresis, restriction enzyme digests, cell culture, protein assays, Western blotting, SDS-PAGE, immunofluorescence, and immunohistochemistry. In a DNA recombination project, I cloned a human gene between vectors and isolated DNA and protein samples to confirm cloning success.

At eDecree, I transcribe and review court hearings and police interviews for use in court cases, correcting transcription errors with close attention to detail.

I'm organized, adaptable, and comfortable communicating findings through presentations, lab reports, scientific essays, and collaborative laboratory projects. I also completed WHMIS 2015 training and have been recognized on the Dean's List.
