What I'm looking for

I’m looking for opportunities where my editorial layout, brand identity, and social media design can turn stories into clear, engaging visuals—working collaboratively, with room to experiment in illustration and short animation.

Hi! I’m Anush Sarkisyan, a graphic designer based in Vanadzor, Armenia. With a background rooted in performance and stage direction, I bring the “language composition” into my design practice—thinking about how a viewer’s eye moves through a design the same way a choreographer directs a dancer across a stage.

Currently working from Vanadzor, I draw energy from the dramatic landscapes and quiet, creative flow of the Lori region to shape my color palettes and visual language. I’ve built brand identity and art direction through social media branding & strategy, created digital illustration and collage (paper and digital), and developed short, loopable animations. From editorial layout and heavily edited text for physical exhibitions to high-contrast social media carousels with strong narrative flow, my focus is always on making stories highly readable, visually engaging, and collaborative.

Created a complete visual identity including a custom logo and cohesive social media presence for contemporary classes and community events. Designed an abstract spiral logo representing paranos (neck) and conveying movement and progress.

Created social media carousels for the DID NGO, using archival images and story information to support urgent international narratives. Developed a high-contrast visual style tied to each story’s color theme and designed for fast-paced feeds.

Designed informational posters for the Democracy In Danger NGO exhibition, editing heavy text and working with limited photographs while keeping the layout readable and visually engaging. Produced final exhibition designs for in-person display in Berlin.
