I’m a Backend Engineer focused on designing high-throughput systems and reliable production services. At ShareChat, I’m an SDE-2 driving backend redesigns that improve performance and cut infrastructure waste.
I proposed and implemented a Targeting Engine data pipeline redesign (Apache Spark ETL on BigQuery) writing directly to ScyllaDB, and I reworked the ScyllaDB schema for faster direct lookups. I also redesigned REST APIs for scalable multi-tenant usage, executing a zero-disruption cutover of 19 dependent microservices across ShareChat and Moj.
I’ve strengthened reliability and platform operations by making Media Download Library region-aware with CDN fallback and performing an end-to-end Moj audio pipeline migration (Singapore → Mumbai) across MySQL, GCS, Redis, and Media Upload Service—reducing p99 latency while keeping service disruption at zero. I build observability, alerting, and CI/CD on GKE to speed up MTTR and improve deployment confidence, and I bring a strong engineering foundation from my BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
