At Tezpur University, I studied Mass Communication and Journalism and researched how Instagram influencers promoting K-beauty products shape female students’ purchasing decisions.
My independent research examines fair-skin representation in Indian advertisements and Assam audience preferences. I contributed the research question, design, data collection, and analysis, and the work is under double-blind peer review.
I’ve also co-authored research on Assam women’s mid-life health behaviour and a rural–urban information divide in menopausal awareness, and I’m the single author of research on communicating food safety to youth in select Assam districts.
Through internships with House of Macnok, Prodigy Communications and Marketing Pvt Ltd, and Anaajoree, I worked on social media marketing, content ideation, copywriting, and content writing. I also qualified UGC NET for assistant professor in 2025.
