What I'm looking for

I seek a collaborative data role where I can build pipelines, apply analytical SQL and Python, contribute to data-driven decisions, and grow in healthcare tech or analytics.

Data Science student with a Physics background, making a deliberate career transition into quantitative finance. I approach financial data the way a physicist approaches a complex system: model it, test it, question the assumptions. Currently building a factor research platform that ingests S&P 500 data into PostgreSQL, constructs quantitative investment factors, and evaluates their predictive power through rigorous statistical testing. Also completing an independent Physics thesis exploring connections between complex systems and financial markets. What I work with: Python, SQL, PostgreSQL, pandas, NumPy, SciPy, statsmodels.
