I’m looking for work at any level in GIS or surveying in the UK with a preference on learning, progression and remote work if possible. I’m relocating back to the UK after a 3 year contractor role in Portugal and can relocate to most areas of the UK.

GIS and data analytics professional with 18 years' experience delivering geospatial intelligence for infrastructure, utility, and land assessment projects. Spent over 16 years at Verisk 3D Visual Intelligence managing field survey teams (6–15 people) and GIS projects spanning land coverage classification, brownfield assessment, building height capture, and POI mapping, using Leica SmartPole/Captivate, ArcGIS Field Maps, and Esri Workforce. Skilled in Power BI, SQL, and Python (pandas, GDAL/PyQGIS) for building end-to-end data pipelines and dashboards, with hands-on experience in PostGIS-adjacent spatial querying. Currently expanding into automated feature extraction and utility asset detection from aerial/street imagery as part of an independent portfolio. UK national with a foundation degree in Geography (Birkbeck, University of London), relocating to London, and available immediately for UK-based GIS analyst or geospatial data roles.
