What I'm looking for

I’m looking to begin my career in editorial publishing. I want to apply my attention to detail and organisational skills to strong editorial work, while continuing to develop professionally in a role where writing, editing, and research matter.

I’m a First Class English Language and Linguistics graduate with strong writing, editing, and research skills, and a long-standing interest in language, publishing, and popular culture. I’ve produced both analytical and creative written work, building a careful, detail-oriented approach to every draft.

Through my studies and long-form essay work, I’ve analysed linguistic data using qualitative and quantitative methods and developed confidence in editing and academic writing. I also completed translation and analysis of complex texts, strengthening how I communicate ideas clearly and accurately.

I’m excited to begin my career in editorial publishing, where I can bring strong attention to detail and organisation while continuing to develop professionally. I’ve written for an academic student blog by adapting tone for online readers, and I’ve also published an interactive narrative game project—editing multiple drafts and combining clarity with technical implementation.
