What I'm looking for

I’m looking to lead finance and budgeting that drives disciplined, compliant decision-making—partnering with executives to forecast, improve controls, and streamline AP/AR and reporting through automation, especially in government or grant-funded environments.

I’m a finance and budget administration leader with 8+ years of progressive experience overseeing budgets up to $39M, annual expenditures exceeding $20M, and complex fiscal operations across government, grant-funded, nonprofit, and enterprise-wide programs. As a Fractional Chief Financial Officer, I own budgeting, forecasting, AP/AR operations, compliance, and executive reporting—translating financial performance into clear, actionable insights.

I’ve built and led accounting teams (including a cross-functional team of 9 professionals) while strengthening internal controls, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing audits end-to-end. I’ve supported 10+ external, grant, and financial audits with no material findings, and I’ve led long-range financial planning and capital project fiscal oversight with executive and Tribal Council stakeholders.

My impact is amplified through process improvement and automation: I’ve reduced monthly processing time by 35 hours, generated approximately 1,680 labor hours in efficiency gains, and automated the processing of 3,800+ invoices. I also served as a liaison for ERP implementations (including Microsoft Dynamics NAV automation), improving accuracy and speed while maintaining strong grant compliance and documentation for federally funded programs.
