Anmol Rana

I’m a motivated BCA student focused on turning real-world data into usable insights across data science, IoT-based robotics, and web development. I’ve already completed internships at IIT Kanpur and Indian Space Lab (ISL), where I worked with data from real research workflows and contributed to analytics that supported ongoing projects.

During my “Data Science with Python” internship at IIT Kanpur, I built hands-on experience in data cleaning, visualization, and predictive modeling using real-world datasets. I used NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and Scikit-Learn, and I applied AI model evaluation, performance metrics, and feature engineering fundamentals through a data-driven mini-project for environmental/social data insights and forecasting.

In my “Research & Analytics” internship at Indian Space Lab (ISL), I supported drone, satellite, and rocket data initiatives and helped with technical intern recruitment and onboarding. I also supported data visualization and reporting using Power BI and Excel, collaborated with engineers and analysts on aerodynamics and propulsion basics, and maintained HR documentation and performance tracking for technical teams.

Beyond internships, I’ve developed project work like Chandrayaan-3 (Lunar Mission) data analysis—building interactive dashboards for terrain elevation and temperature variation using Python, Pandas, and Matplotlib. I also built Quiz World, an online assessment platform with user authentication, quiz management, and instant results, and I was selected as a GoogleCampus Ambassador for leadership, communication, and event management.
