Ankit Jain

I am a fourth-year B.Tech student at IIT Mandi specializing in machine learning, deep learning, and full-stack application development. I have built and deployed production-style projects such as a facial-recognition Smart Attendance System and region-specific weather monitoring interfaces.

My projects demonstrate strong end-to-end capabilities: designing responsive front ends, developing backend services with Node.js and Flask, training state-of-the-art deep learning models (ViT, dlib, PyTorch, Keras) and optimizing pipelines for accuracy and interpretability. I have achieved high real-world performance, including 99%+ attendance-recognition accuracy and 94%+ artifact-detection accuracy.

I contribute in leadership roles—coordinating the chess club, captaining the Inter IIT chess team, and managing large event logistics—bringing teamwork, problem solving, and execution focus to technical roles. I seek opportunities to apply ML and full-stack skills to impactful, production-facing systems.
