What I'm looking for

I’m looking to own platform-level quality end-to-end—QA automation in Go, CI/CD quality gates, IaC-backed validation, and release governance with GO/NO-GO decisions and rollback safety in high-velocity, regulated environments.

I’m a T-shaped engineer with 13 years spanning QA automation, DevOps, and release governance—the arc from hands-on test engineering to platform-level quality ownership this role calls for. I’m proud to have been the sole architect of a Go unit-test suite for an internal deployment platform, later evolving into DevOps platform validation ownership.

In DevOps, I built CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and release processes that the platform is validated against today. I define standards and reusable tooling adopted across multiple engineering teams, and I operate with GO/NO-GO release gates and rollback procedures in environments that demand zero-defect tolerance.

I’ve maintained and evolved Jenkins and GitHub Actions delivery workflows, automated platform validation and operational processes with Ansible and Terraform on AWS, and continued to run the internal Go-based deployment application that underpins release execution across the platform. I also partner cross-functionally to keep cross-component changes safe to ship.

My approach blends rigorous testing across unit, integration, API, smoke, functional, and regression coverage with infrastructure-aware engineering. I’m also an active daily user of AI-assisted workflows (GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) to accelerate engineering while governing quality for agentic and spec-driven development.

DevOps Engineer

Nutanix (Frame)

Sep 2018 - Nov 2023 (5 years 2 months)

Refactored an internal Go-based deployment platform by introducing a YAML-based abstraction layer over Ansible and Terraform to standardize install/upgrade/custom-deploy workflows. Owned end-to-end release management for 26+ bi-weekly releases, building Jenkins pipelines and Artifactory-based artifact distribution with rollback procedures and post-release verification.

Refactored a Go-based deployment platform by introducing a YAML-based abstraction layer over Ansible and Terraform to standardize reusable, configuration-driven deployment workflows. Owned release management for 26+ bi-weekly releases, including pre-release sign-off, sequential upgrades via Jenkins, post-release verification, and one-click rollback.

Allied Testing

Feb 2014 - Apr 2016 (2 years 2 months)

Tested trading and post-trading platforms for Monte Titoli (LSEG) and Raymond James in strictly regulated environments, including validation against the ECB's T2S settlement system. Served as team lead on Raymond James projects and acted as GO/NO-GO decision-maker in partnership with BAs, POs, and PMs.
