I am looking for opportunities that allow me to apply my machine learning skills in innovative projects, ideally in a collaborative environment that values research and development.

I am Anindya Basak, a passionate researcher and aspiring data scientist currently pursuing my MSc in Computer Science and Engineering at BRAC University. My undergraduate thesis focused on developing a CNN-BiLSTM fusion model for age estimation from facial images, where I constructed a unique dataset and compared my model's performance with state-of-the-art techniques. This experience honed my skills in deep learning and computer vision, which I am eager to apply in real-world scenarios.

In addition to my thesis, I have contributed to several publications in the field of machine learning, including work on predictive analytics in agriculture. My technical expertise spans various programming languages and tools, including Python, MATLAB, and TensorFlow. I am particularly interested in projects that leverage machine learning for impactful solutions, and I thrive in collaborative environments that foster innovation and creativity.

Constructed a unique regional facial image dataset of 80 individuals over seven years. Proposed and evaluated a CNN-BiLSTM fusion model for apparent age estimation from facial images. Compared the model's performance against state-of-the-art methods.

Designed and implemented a PCB for a simple password-based door lock system. Integrated an 8051 microcontroller for system control. Implemented an alarm system to deter and alert authorities during brute force attempts.

Designed and implemented a PCB for a real-time vehicle tracking system. Tracked speed, movement, and stored routes on a webserver. Utilized MPU 6050 for motion detection and Esp8266 for alerts to the owner.
