Anesu Mudere
@anesumudere
Assistant Data Analyst at AMA who analyzed market data and built agricultural income and adoption models.
What I'm looking for
At Agricultural Marketing Authority (AMA), I collected and organized operational and market data, then cleaned and analyzed it for reporting. I produced statistical summaries, trends, and visualizations to support operational and management decisions.
I used Excel and Python to process real-world datasets, perform data quality checks, investigate discrepancies, and document reproducible methods.
For my research on solar drying of biofortified crops in semi-arid Zimbabwe, I designed field survey instruments and built regression models to assess outcomes including post-harvest losses, dietary diversity, and household income. I also used probit analysis to examine adoption barriers among smallholder farmers.
During my AGRITEX internship, I analyzed crop, yield, farming practice, and market data, and participated in developing agricultural business plans, feasibility studies, and financial projections. A three-month TNE Fellowship at the University of Foggia, Italy, under the WAGON2AFRICA programme, broadened my global perspective.
