I've spent 10+ years delivering backend systems and leading engineering initiatives across startups, product companies, and client-facing environments in Ukraine and Europe.
In my recent Senior Software Engineer work, I’ve led the decomposition of a large monolithic platform into independently deployable microservices and modernized legacy services from Symfony 2/3 and PHP 7.0 to Symfony 7.4 and PHP 8.5. I’ve also designed platform capabilities such as a dedicated media service for scalable image processing and delivery across frontend applications.
I build high-performance REST APIs, Kafka-based event-driven workflows, and reliable asynchronous processing, with a focus on database efficiency, caching, predictable latency, and scalable request handling.
I bring technical direction across AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, and production observability, while mentoring engineers through code reviews, architecture discussions, and hands-on guidance.
