Andrew McGlothlin

I’m a Software Development Engineer who builds real-time systems and production-ready features end to end. At Concentra, I led a springboot application from the ground up with 3 RESTful APIs to deliver real time data accessibility for over 700 centers nationwide.

I also developed 5 internal web applications used by 10,000 users nationwide, and I designed and optimized a database procedure to create $26 million in profit annually while decreasing a prior run time for 21 hours to 30 minutes. In the same role, I created and modified an automated ETL Database system that processed 500K records a day.

Previously at Amazon, I developed front-end in React and back-end in Java, creating features for a page visited by over 300,000 users daily. I designed UX, managed experiments, deployed code, and reviewed data from A-B testing, and I ran stress tests to scale environments ahead of high-traffic days.

At Paycom, I collaborated in an Agile team to create, research, develop, and test user stories for an enterprise software used by over 100,000 users. I also led research in a database issue that effected over 300 files to ensure changes caused no bugs on deployment, and I started my path through a Verilog and FPGA-focused internship at RPX Technologies.
