What I'm looking for

I seek roles combining applied biology, lab work and science education/communication in collaborative, mission-driven teams with opportunities for public engagement and skill growth.

I am a trained biologist with a Master's in Applied Biology and hands-on laboratory experience in microbiology and molecular techniques. My master's thesis investigated prokaryote diversity in deep subsurface sediments using nucleic acid extraction, PCR, electrophoresis and DGGE.

I have taught Natural Sciences, Biology and Geology in multiple settings, provided individual study support, and worked as a scientific monitor guiding STEM activities for public audiences. I bring strong pedagogy, communication, and experience working with children and teenagers.

My professional background also includes scientific and technical freelance writing focused on engineering-related reports, and practical training as a park guide and mycology technician. I combine fieldwork, lab skills and science communication in interdisciplinary projects.

I am organized, team-oriented and persistent, with additional experience coaching martial arts (1st Dan Shotokai Karate), event logistics, amateur photography and choir participation — all reflecting my commitment to teaching, discipline and public engagement.
