What I'm looking for

Fully remote individual contributor role as a Senior Backend Engineer, open worldwide, startup or enterprise. I want to stay hands-on, building scalable APIs, event-driven services and real-time features in TypeScript/NestJS. I value transparency, with salary and benefits clear upfront and a manager who communicates openly. I work best in async-first teams with strong written communication.

I am a Senior Backend Engineer with 8 years across fintech, web3 gaming, and market research.

At Rektstudios I am one of the founding backend engineers in a team of 3. We built Rekt Game Core from scratch and took it from zero to 10k+ registered players and 17k+ SpludgeWars matches played. I built its wallet ledger for off-chain credit and custodial ERC-20, with writes hardened by Postgres advisory locks, CAS status transitions, and idempotency keys.

At Kadence International I was the first engineer on Kadence K-OINS. I designed and led it, built its Flutter app and its 4 NestJS microservices, and was promoted to Lead Engineer. Built in-house, K-OINS cost about IDR 540M less in its first year than the vendor app it replaced, and it has 18k registered panelists.

Earlier, at Gradana Indonesia, I migrated a monolith to microservices in stages on a live production system.
I built the open-source ack-nestjs-boilerplate and remain its sole maintainer (700+ GitHub stars).

One of three founding backend engineers on Rekt Game Core, a NestJS backend built from scratch and grown to 10k+ players and 17k+ matches. Built auth, wallet, store, marketplace, battle pass and a realtime leaderboard with RabbitMQ and BullMQ. Co-built Rekt Game Chat with GraphQL and Socket.IO. Reviewed code and worked with blockchain, game and frontend teams.

First engineer on K-OINS, a survey app with 18k panelists. Designed and built its Flutter app and 4 NestJS microservices on MongoDB and RabbitMQ, cutting first-year cost by about IDR 540M versus the vendor app. Also built Kadence Kepo and led Internal Tools. Managed 1 web engineer, 1 designer and 2 interns, owning architecture and CI/CD. Promoted from Senior to Lead in 2024.
