ANDREA WENTWORTH
@andreawentworth
I am an experienced APRN specializing in complex gastrointestinal and acute-care management.
What I'm looking for
I am an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with two decades of clinical experience across acute-care, long-term care and outpatient settings.
Since 2004 I have served as an APRN at Digestive Disease Associates, managing complex gastrointestinal disorders, ordering diagnostics, and serving as a clinical educator and preceptor to APRN students.
My prior roles include APRN work in geriatric and internal medicine, cardiac and vascular services, and earlier practice as an RN and charge nurse, which developed my leadership, staffing and problem-solving skills.
I hold a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of South Florida with a Second Place Award for a DNP project on increasing transient elastography use, and I maintain certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as well as ACLS.
