What I'm looking for

I'm looking for an education role where I can teach and lead science programmes, support learners and colleagues, contribute to curriculum development, and continue coaching and developing school sport.

I've taught Natural Sciences, Physical Sciences, Life Orientation and Technical Science at Langenhoven Gimnasium since 2013, while leading Physical Sciences for Grades 10–12 and Natural Sciences for Grades 8–9.

My Grade 12 Physical Sciences learners achieved pass rates above 92% from 2022 to 2025, with distinctions each year. I also served as an NSC Physical Sciences Paper 2 marker from 2023 to 2025, applying marking guidelines accurately and consistently.

Alongside teaching, I've led various grades, coached first-team hockey and cricket, and contributed to hockey development as an Eden Provincial Hockey Coach and Eden Hockey Chairperson.

My academic background includes an M.Sc. in Cardiovascular Physiology, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, and published research in the International Journal of Cardiology. I bring strong curriculum knowledge, clear communication, bilingual Afrikaans and English teaching, and a commitment to learner achievement.
