At Maury Regional Urgent Care, I oversee a team of 2–3 nurses as Charge Nurse, helping maintain a smooth flow of patients. I also triage unstable patients and relay information to a provider to determine the appropriate level of care.
I administer oral and IV medications and injections, monitor patients for adverse reactions, and prioritize nursing interventions based on patient needs. I also perform phone triage and discuss lab results with patients.
Earlier at Maury Regional Urgent Care, I provided direct patient care as a Licensed Practical Nurse, including wound dressing, orthopedic splinting, and specimen collection. I assisted with training and mentoring new nursing staff in my current role.
