Andrea Olmos

At Centro Multicultural La Familia in Pontiac, I coordinate civic engagement programs that strengthen community participation and access to rights. I facilitate citizenship classes, provide interpretation for naturalization and residency interviews, and translate legal documents.

I co-coordinated Pontiac’s first bilingual mayoral panel, engaging more than 50 participants. I also led seven canvassers who reached 2,500+ households and registered 300+ voters during the 2024 federal elections.

I coordinate cultural events for 500+ participants, from budgets and promotional graphics through agendas, invitations, and impact data. Through the Summer Youth Employment Program, I manage budgets and reports while mentoring 12–15 youth annually on community and environmental projects.

My background also includes international policy research with CEERI and immigration support with Mexico’s National Institute of Migration. I bring a glocal perspective grounded in social justice, direct service, and equitable access to resources.
