I currently work as a High School Counselor, helping students navigate their academic and career pathways. I bring a strong focus on program development, community outreach, and career counseling to foster student success.
Before this role, I served as a College and Career Counselor supporting students through their planning process at Atlas Preparatory School. I also contributed through the HSD2 CLDE Newcomer Support Committee, where my work included curriculum development, research skills, and data analysis.
My background includes education leadership and direct classroom impact as a Teacher for America educator and as an ELD/English teacher. I’ve led professional development sessions, using Kegan strategies to enhance teaching effectiveness, and I’ve served as a supportive house leader mentoring and empowering colleagues in collaborative environments.
I’m a multilingual counselor with English and Spanish abilities and a CLDE certification that supports equitable access to educational resources. I earned a BA in Geography, Anthropology, and Leadership Studies, and I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Counselor Education at Adams State University.
