What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a counseling/clinical psychology role where I can conduct psychological assessments, provide supportive interventions (including psychological first aid), and collaborate with senior clinicians while contributing to mental-health education and research.

I’m an Applied Psychology graduate with a PostGraduate Diploma in Guidance and Counseling, and hands-on experience across counseling, clinical psychology, and mental-health support. I’m driven by research-minded practice and a strong commitment to patient-centered, non-judgemental care.

In my Clinical Psychology Internship at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, I gained practical exposure under Psychiatrists and MPhil Clinical Psychology trainees. I administered psychological assessments including TAT, Rorschach, MCMI, MMPI, and multiple inventories, and supported case history taking and mental status examination alongside observation of therapy sessions.

Alongside clinical exposure, I’ve worked as a Counseling Intern at B.N. Lal Vocational Inter College, planning guidance programmes for school contexts. I also volunteer with Smriti Palliative Care NGO, providing emotional support and psychological first aid through weekly visits, strengthening empathy and resilience through grief and trauma exposure.

I’ve also built facilitation and advocacy skills through peer facilitation training (Project Sarthi) and mental-health awareness work via Project Ukiyo-Ambassador Program. I’ve qualified UGC-NET (December 2025), qualified GATE-Psychology (2025), and ranked 12th in Jamia Millia Islamia (Psychology) entrance (2023), with a CuetPG score of 250/400.
