Ana Kukobat

I’m a master’s IT student at the Faculty of Sciences in Novi Sad, and I’ve built a habit of quickly adapting to dynamic environments. I approach every task thoroughly with a strong sense of responsibility, and I value open communication and teamwork to achieve shared goals.

Through my projects, I’ve focused on practical backend development with Java Spring Boot. I built a “Web Application for Courses” where users can create profiles, post courses, and assign events to courses, using RESTful APIs and a MySQL database for reliable data storage and retrieval.

I also enjoy end-to-end product thinking—especially when it combines data, usability, and sustainability. In “ThermoDash,” I developed an energy monitoring and optimization platform with interactive dashboards and visual summaries, integrating OpenWeatherAPI and enabling real-time tracking, alerts, and optional solar panel support.

My most advanced work strengthened my microservices mindset and delivery discipline. In the “Hospital Management System,” I designed a microservices architecture (patients, doctors, appointments, medical records) using Spring Cloud Config Server, Netflix Eureka for service discovery, OpenFeign for inter-service communication, and a centralized API Gateway. I also gained professional exposure through a Schneider Electric software engineer internship (3 weeks) and containerized full systems locally with Docker and Docker Compose, plus Flutter/Dart learning from workshops and a short Levi9 experience.
