I research AI governance, autonomous weapons, and fundamental rights.

At the InterAgency Institute, I lead Global Security research on AI policy in defence, civil-society engagement, and international AI regulation. I have led the institute's participation in the Stop Killer Robots campaign, represented civil society at UN GGE-CCW sessions in Geneva, and delivered funded research on lethal autonomous weapons.

I've produced policy briefs, analyses, event reports, and advocacy content in English, French, and Portuguese, with publications on AI regulation, AI safety, disinformation, and the social history of technology. My work also includes teaching public-policy analysis and AI history, mentoring a research affiliate, and contributing to international policy forums.

Alongside my research, I bring extensive editorial and communications experience from Igarapé Institute, Brazil's Ministry of Justice, UNDP, UNHCR, Oxfam Brasil, ITF, and Rede Globo.
