What I'm looking for

I'm seeking a remote accounting role where I can own general ledger, close, reconciliations, reporting, and process improvements while supporting accurate, timely financial operations.

At Basscat Boats, I perform general ledger accounting, support month-end and year-end close, and prepare cash and sales reporting while resolving discrepancies.

I've delivered full-cycle accounting and financial analysis for multiple clients at Abacus CPAs, preparing financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries, and audit-ready supporting schedules. I also managed general ledger, AP, AR, collections, cash activity, and reporting as Office Manager / Controller at Johnstone Supply.

I've reduced a monthly close to approximately two days through process improvements and tied a deferred revenue report to the general ledger for a 20-year-old company for the first time.

I work across multi-entity and intercompany accounting, GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition, and accounting systems including QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, and Excel.
