What I'm looking for

I'm seeking opportunities where I can combine education, science, health, and technology to create meaningful learning experiences, communicate complex ideas, and solve practical problems.

My career has centered on helping people learn, solve problems, and make informed decisions. In more than 25 years in education, I have worked as a science teacher, STEAM Integration Specialist, athletic trainer, instructional coach and collaborator, curriculum designer, and teacher leader.

Science has always been at the heart of my work. I genuinely love teaching science, making complex ideas understandable, encouraging curiosity, and helping learners connect concepts to real-world situations. In my current role, I design STEAM and project-based learning experiences, support educators in using new instructional strategies and technologies, develop curriculum and assessments, and create professional learning resources. I have also led work involving AI literacy and responsible AI use in education.

More than two decades as an athletic trainer have given me an additional perspective in health and applied science. My work has included injury assessment, emergency response, first aid, rehabilitation support, injury prevention, health education, and CPR and first aid instruction. This experience has strengthened my ability to gather information, recognize patterns, communicate technical information clearly, and make sound decisions in situations where safety matters.

I hold two master’s degrees—one in Athletic Training and one in Educational Leadership. My background spans science, health, STEAM, educational technology, instructional design, professional learning, and organizational leadership.

I’m interested in opportunities where I can use this combination of education, science, health, communication, and problem-solving experience to help people learn, make informed decisions, and solve meaningful problems.
