At Woxsen University, I serve as an Assistant Professor in the Central Research Committee and School of Liberal Arts & Humanities. My research examines women’s contributions to peacebuilding in India’s Northeast, including informal peace negotiations among Naga and Bodo women.
My book, Gender, nation, and nationalism: Perspectives of Tibetan women in exile, was published by Routledge in 2025. I have also published research on women’s resistance in Bodoland, oral traditions and conflict transformation, and Tibetan women’s contributions to nationalism.
