Amna Iqbal
@amnaiqbal
PhD analytical chemist specializing in photocatalysis, nanomaterials, and environmental remediation.
What I'm looking for
I am a PhD-trained analytical chemist with deep expertise in heterogeneous photocatalysis, nanomaterial synthesis, and reactor design for environmental remediation. I combine green synthesis methods with advanced material characterization to develop eco-friendly solutions for pollutant degradation.
My research training includes a visiting scholarship at Arizona State University where I advanced skills in photocatalysis, electrocatalysis, photoelectrocatalysis, and electrochemical measurements. I have led R&D projects on pesticide degradation and wastewater purification and contributed to multidisciplinary teams focused on sustainable water treatment.
In laboratory roles I operate and maintain instruments such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, SEM, FESEM, EDX, TGA-DTA and ultracentrifuge, and I develop reproducible protocols for complex environmental and biological matrices. I have supervised undergraduate and masters students and contributed to manuscript preparation and grant-supported research initiatives.
I am results-driven, collaborative, and experienced in both academic and applied laboratory settings, with peer-reviewed publications and international scholarship recognitions that demonstrate sustained contributions to environmental analytical chemistry and nanomaterials research.
