What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a patient-focused medical office where I can use my CMA training to support providers, document accurately in Athena EMR, coordinate prescriptions/prior authorizations, and deliver compassionate care in a team environment.

I’m a CMA medical assistant who helps keep patient care running smoothly through accurate documentation, efficient scheduling, and reliable follow-through. I’m trained in Athena EMR and focus on creating clear, complete records that support providers and patient outcomes.

In my medical assistant roles, I performed medical records management including filing, organizing, and scanning documents. I also handled patient care tasks such as vital sign and blood pressure checks, depo injections, incision checks, and assisting with in-office surgeries.

I stay proactive with care coordination by calling/faxing pharmacies for prescriptions and refills, scheduling appointments, and facilitating referrals and imaging follow-ups. I’ve also obtained prior authorizations using covermymeds to help reduce delays in treatment.

Before focusing fully on healthcare, I built strong customer service experience as a car wash attendant and guest service specialist. That background strengthened my ability to communicate clearly, follow safety protocols, and deliver high-quality service—skills I bring into every patient interaction.
