Almir Hrvat

I’m a software engineer from Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, with over 10 years of professional experience building backend systems and web applications.

My main expertise is in PHP, Symfony, Laravel, C#, ASP.NET Core, JavaScript, SQL, and REST APIs. I have experience working with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, Docker, AWS, and other technologies used to build and maintain scalable backend systems.

At Zendev, I worked on a large-scale platform supporting approximately 50 million registered accounts, focusing on backend development, database and query optimization, Redis caching, RabbitMQ, reporting, and integrations.

More recently, at Salt Square, I expanded my professional experience into C# and ASP.NET Core, developing REST APIs and backend services with Clean Architecture, dependency injection, EF Core, PostgreSQL, DTOs, database migrations, external API integrations, and AWS DynamoDB.

I enjoy solving backend problems, improving existing systems, and working on projects where reliability, maintainability, and performance matter. I’m comfortable working independently in remote environments while also valuing clear communication and collaboration.

I’m currently looking for a long-term remote opportunity where I can contribute my backend experience, work with a strong engineering team, and continue growing with modern technologies.
