I am an IT Leader and Innovator with over 15 years of experience in cybersecurity and information security management. My expertise lies in developing and implementing strategic security frameworks, risk management strategies, and compliance programs across diverse sectors. I excel at leveraging advanced technologies and fostering industry partnerships to align technical capabilities with organizational goals, ensuring robust protection and operational efficiency.

Currently, I manage IT and Information Security at Avanti Software, where I spearheaded a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy that achieved SOC1, SOC2, and ISO-27001 compliance within one year. I lead cross-functional teams to ensure the cyber resilience and stability of a fully cloud-based SaaS product, which handles payroll for over 300 Canadian companies. My role also involves architecting disaster recovery strategies and incident response frameworks, while fostering a security-first culture across the organization.

In addition to my managerial role, I teach advanced cybersecurity courses at Northern College and St Lawrence College, where I develop comprehensive curricula and drive student engagement through interactive learning experiences.
