Ali Tahir

I’m a PhD candidate in Transportation Planning & Management with an MBA and a strong background in business studies. I bring experience working in a multicultural environment, with a focus on research analysis and team coordination.

In my role as Business Operations Manager in a family owned agricultural business, I managed daily operations and supervised seasonal workers, coordinating planting, harvesting, logistics, and distribution activities to enhance productivity. Previously, as an HR Intern at Nestlé, I supported recruitment coordination, candidate screening, testing, and interview scheduling, while facilitating communication across internal departments to strengthen HR operations and teamwork.

Academically, I’ve researched how universities can function as innovation hubs (“Universities as Innovation Hubs”) and studied the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and the Belt and Road Initiative. I have submitted a research article in a journal and am awaiting publication, and I’m now seeking to contribute to a Chinese company’s international expansion efforts.
