Alia Jacobs

I’m an Architectural Technologist and Construction Management graduate, bringing hands-on experience in architectural drafting, BIM coordination, construction documentation, and multidisciplinary project support. I’m at my best collaborating across architectural and engineering teams to keep projects moving smoothly from design through submissions.

In recent roles, I supported drawing production and project communication, including surveying existing facilities and developing high-level full layout and isometric drawings using industry drafting standards. I also contributed to project administration and consultant-to-team coordination to help maintain clarity and momentum.

Earlier experience includes assisting on large-scale healthcare BIM coordination, where I supported architectural and MEP team coordination, prepared technical drawings and documentation for project submissions, and participated in QAQC reviews. I also interned on multidisciplinary drawing packages, updating and revising drawings based on project requirements and completing QAQC checks for submissions.

I bring a strong documentation mindset and teaching-driven clarity from my educator experience, where I developed students’ technical drawing skills and design interpretation through structured lesson planning. In fast-paced environments, I combine technical precision with organization, leadership, and practical communication to deliver reliable project outputs.
