I built MapViewer for Android, an offline platform that combines DJI UAV control, GIS mapping, encrypted peer-to-peer communications, and terrain-based target localization. I integrated GNSS, GPS, and IMU data with Kalman filtering to support real-time navigation and position estimation.
At HIAST, I led R&D projects in image processing, GIS, computer vision, and software development, including PhD research on real-time UAV pose estimation using a 3D terrain engine. I also developed a GIS platform using GeoServer, PostgreSQL, and OpenLayers, and built a desktop 3D map viewer using NASA WorldWind, GDAL, and DEM data.
