Alex Sowa

As a dual-role Director of Technology and Educational Technology, I bring over a decade of experience in K-6 environments. My expertise lies in leading IT infrastructure, managing system transitions, and ensuring cybersecurity while designing educational technology programs that enhance student learning and support teacher growth. I take pride in having guided my school through the challenges of remote learning during the COVID-19 pandemic and achieving Apple Distinguished School recognition.

My role involves overseeing ongoing technology upgrades, including improvements to mobile device management systems, and administering the school’s network infrastructure to maintain cybersecurity compliance. I am dedicated to training and supporting faculty, staff, and students in technology use, and I manage the school’s technology budget in coordination with the CFO. My commitment to aligning tech operations with educational impact drives my passion for creating a positive learning environment.
