I am a dedicated PhD candidate in Anthropology at Syracuse University, specializing in historic preservation and archaeological research. My academic journey has been enriched by my role as an archaeologist with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), where I contribute to the Mitigation Division. My research focuses on the intersection of archaeology and cultural heritage, particularly in penal sites across the Central Mediterranean.

Throughout my career, I have directed significant projects such as the Central Mediterranean Penal Heritage Project (CMPHP), collaborating with esteemed institutions like Heritage Malta and the University of South Florida. My work in 3D digitization and archaeological mapping has been recognized through various grants and awards, showcasing my commitment to advancing the field of archaeology. I have published multiple articles and presented at numerous conferences, reflecting my passion for sharing knowledge and engaging with the academic community.
