What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can deliver evidence-based, compassionate care, coordinate interdisciplinary teams, and grow in postpartum/maternal-newborn and behavioral health nursing—especially roles that value patient safety, education, and de-escalation skills.

I’m a Registered Nurse who delivers comprehensive, evidence-based care across maternal-newborn and behavioral health settings. I use detailed assessments—monitoring vital signs, pain, uterine status, and newborn adaptation—to help identify complications early and respond quickly.

In Mother Baby, I monitor uterine involution and patient safety, administer medications while tracking effectiveness and adverse reactions, and coordinate care with physicians, lactation consultants, social workers, and case management to support safe discharge planning. I also provide extensive education to patients and families on newborn care, breastfeeding, medications, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.

In Behavioral Health, I conduct admissions and ongoing nursing assessments for mood, affect, psychomotor activity, orientation, and safety risk. I administer and monitor prescribed psychotropic and adjunct medications, use therapeutic communication and behavioral management techniques to de-escalate, and respond to psychiatric and medical emergencies by initiating immediate interventions and coordinating appropriate referrals.
