Alejandro Treviño

I've led large-scale housing and urban planning programs across Australia and Mexico, working with INFONAVIT, the NSW Department of Planning and Environment, UNDP, and SEDATU.

At INFONAVIT, I led delivery of Mexico's National Housing Strategy across seven southern states, where my team advanced more than 144,000 homes toward a 250,000-home target by 2030. I also managed the development and delivery of 60 urban planning instruments nationwide, collaborating with authorities, communities, multilateral organisations, and planning consultants.

At the NSW Department of Planning and Environment, I supervised urban design and regulatory compliance for state government precincts, developed urban models and scenario-testing tools, and supported Central Sydney urban renewal planning.

I bring 20 years of experience in urban planning, urban design, sustainability, transport, and housing, combining strategic policy delivery with data-driven design and a commitment to affordable, well-located housing.
