At MARN–UNDP, I produce El Salvador’s 2020 and 2025 national land-cover and land-use maps from satellite imagery, and reconstruct the 1990–2025 land-use change time series for the AFOLU sector.
I generate land-use change matrices and uncertainty maps in accordance with the IPCC Guidelines. I also write processing manuals in Google Earth Engine and QGIS to institutionalize the workflow.
At CEL, I managed the georeferenced technical datapack for the national hydrocarbon exploration project and automated technical maps and spatial analysis in Python. I also designed and supervised nationwide geophysical campaigns.
As an independent Geoscience Consultant, I completed GIS site-suitability and prefeasibility studies for renewable energy and water resources projects. My work includes a solar-powered data center study combining LiDAR-based assessment, hydrological analysis, and erosion modeling.
