Alan McIntyre
@alanmcintyre
I build computational geometry, CAD, optimization, and ML systems from concept to production.
What I'm looking for
Through CodeReclaimers, I build, ship, and support production software for engineering customers. I lead development of DezignWorks, a commercial reverse-engineering suite for SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, and Creo Parametric, including computational-geometry algorithms that reconstruct CAD sketches and surfaces from scanned point data.
My work spans C++, Python, Julia, CUDA, numerical methods, evolutionary search, and ML evaluation infrastructure. Earlier, I built deep-learning engines at SignalSense, rescued prototype projects at Microsoft, and maintain neat-python, a reference NEAT implementation with more than 1,500 GitHub stars and 100 academic citations.
